Post a challenge forum for complete beginners?

today when i checked out the sheetmusic for the tune of this month i did notice that the tune seems easy but the notation is more advanced as i can read it yet (pointed dots and so on)

also i did invite other beginners today
tomorrow ill invite a complete beginner (he wants to learn to play whistles)

and i thought:
maybe i should rename the beginners challenge section into "advanced beginners" and should create a real "beginner" section, for complete beginners, totaly newbies
there we could recoment some really nice but easy tunes to start with, no monthly challenge but some good complete beginner tunes ... and we would have a good starting point for complete beginners who would like to join us, ...
after that they wood be fitt to join the advanced beginners challenge

what do you guys think about it?

i mean sooner or later we will need an advanced section but i think we also should have a starting section which could be namend "beginner" or i just leave things like they are and name the new forum "tin whistle starter" or "starter section" but doesnt that sound strange?

i mean its the same thing its just about words/names

i think we need a complete beginner section to make this thing interesting for them
we need our challenge
and later also an advanced one
dont you agree?

On the fence a bit ... I don't think a complete beginner wants to post his version of twinkle twinkle little star ... and I don't really want to hear it a bunch of times. Some tunes we just know so well that you know if you have it or not. I also don't think that the tunes we have started with are beyond any beginner if they are serious about learning the instrument. I'm sure that any beginner could play Star of the County Down within a couple of months of picking up the whistle.
